An Update from Alwyn Matt

Dear Folks!

Yes I apologise for the delay! Many have been visiting this website for updates, especially with the current trips in Australia and the constant emphasis by the churches on this website; the visits have increased. But to much disappointment most of you saw the same information as previous visits. I apologise but this in many ways was due to a good problem that occurred. Doors have opened all over the land.

In November I had the opportunity to go to few churches across inland Queensland. Due to His grace much harvest was reaped during those visits and the town of Crowsnest has invited me back for a 3 day city wide crusade!

Since the completion of the 40 day fast, we have seen such great harvest.

New, fresh wells have been reopened which revivalists in the past laboured for. There has been such a great spirit across the leadership. With much travel I am convinced the leaders of churches are done with management, leadership and business attitude but want to press in for the RAW, REAL DEAL GOSPEL OF JESUS! As long as I am alive, I live to see the REAL DEAL GOSPEL that Jesus came to establish.

Last week I was in Brisbane, we have 1 lady who was FULLY paralysed completely healed and running on stage. So many more miracles and much more salvations that is hard to count.

I must inform you before I forget that a free teaching of mine is available on Worship, which was preached at my home church. This teaching is available in download format which you can upload on your ipods or other soaking gadgets.

As I type this I am in Crowsnest with a day to go for the crusade! I went insane, reading about the crusade in the local newspaper. Many more cities to go, churches to touch, souls to set free, bodies to be healed and nations to inherit!

Pastor Pat from Highfields New Hope got in touch with me and offered his platform for me to minister. Great church, place and people, I taught on the Holy Spirit, the need of the comforter in every hour. Needless to say, He came, people were touched and I was blessed.

One of the highlights was a word of knowledge I had called out of a person praying for Peter who had cancer. There was a mother who was praying for a fellow brother whose name was Peter with this problem – it was a great word and I believe brought healing in many ways.

I heard last week (Nov 16^th – almost a month gap) that Peter’s cancer has reduced – let us press on for 100% healing on that one.

Almost a month ago while over coffee with Pastor Chris Mulhare (Senior Pastor of New Hope People Church. He had offered to have me based at his church as my home church. As people close to me would know, I am big on the local church and being planted in the house. A home church is significant in the life of the believer, it is the place where we can worship, receive from, sow into and have a sense of belonging. In many ways it is a source of protection, one of the reasons of success in my ministry can be attributed to my love and commitment to the local church. I took almost 3 weeks off seeking God on this and eventually got back to Pastor Chris and took on this offer – which is a blessing to me. We chatted over coffee our visions as a church and this ministry, our faith and vision is parallel and we pursue the same things, hence in many ways establishing a partnership in the things we do.

New Hope People Church – I absolutely love you. I have been to almost 15 churches since my arrival in Australia. New Hope I could say is one of my favourite and the best I have been to so far!

Neil my faithful buddy took me off to the airport (thanks Neil – you are always awesome). At the airport I was flat out bored waiting for my NOW “delayed” flight! Bored with my iPod I began to speak in tongues until ofcourse the people around began to give me weird looks!

Upon arrival in Sydney I was picked by my brother in laws uncle – a very weird explanation of relationship I am aware! I was there to meet up with Ab, my sister’s husband who had come down from Kuwait. During the course of the week I had a couple of meetings arranged by the family I stayed with which was just awesome as most of them got to see the “FULL GOSPEL” in action for the first time.

I also got to connect with the Anglican Church and leaders and the possibility of more meetings for a future time has been discussed. I love it when I get the opportunity to minister at such ground because people are more in awe than anything – I stand in Awe of you Jesus.

One of the highlights of Sydney was my trip to Hillsong, I got to connect with a pastor there called Andrew who did bible college with Marty Sampson (how cool is that?). Andrew took me to the Sunday service which was just awesome and got me to meet with some of the leaders of the church – how awesome! Being at Hillsong was a long dream come true, as a young boy I grew up loving this church and their worship ministry to the body at large. I also learnt a lot about how the church is structured, how to administer evangelism and their primary focus.

I totally loved the service and I am more than convinced that this church is right on track with what they are called to do within Australia and the world. I did some “crazy” shopping at the Hillsong store too, how cool is this? They got their own GLORIA JEANS cafe in the church – now that is what I call a church in the will of God – HA HA!

Making a long story short through the week I was offered to fly to Sydney and hence Brisbane was my transit point to catch the flight. During the time I was there I was allowed to minister a church. People often tell me that demons are rare in developed nations and more nations like Africa and India. I beg to differ, most times as I minister I observe people slightly under demonic influence but due to specific issues with the leadership I am limited in my ways to administer deliverance and must wait for the right time.

I had an opportune time over this specific sister who I had noticed months ago was under demonic influence, due to the Lord’s grace I was given the season to deal with this and so I did. It was so God awesome kind, the sister had been struggling with sleepless nights and even demonic visitations to some extend – BUT WHEN THE NAME OF JESUS was released – the demon was bound and cast out! What a way to end the night to catch my flight to Sydney!

I love it when expectancy is in the house as it is the breeding place for miracles! I had some deep insights from the word but as I was in worship at the service I felt in my Spirit to just keep it simple. I shared a bit on how the deer desires for waters to satisfy their thirst and so do we as humans have a craving for the Holy Ghost. It was more of an evangelistic design sermon followed by an altar call, as always!

Almost 98% of the crowd came up in the front for committing their lives to Jesus, some of the souls were recommitting their lives once again, hungry for a new experience. The Lord began to move through word of knowledge and prophetic which was awesome! Prayer for healing also happened some of the confirmed healings are:

1 sister who had a wrist problem for 2 months and was going to the doctor on a constant basis was healed instant – Instant Coffee Relief!

Pastor Dan’s wife – Anna has been having rashes on her body for around 3 years, she was prayer for – she later on stated that the same night the rashes increased but the following morning IT TOTALLY DISAPPEARED!

This sometimes happens when we pray for healing that the condition worsens as the demonic stronghold has been shaken and hence tries to make an impact before departure, but the presence of Jesus is stronger than that mate!
