Alwyn Matt

Evangelist Alwyn Matt, founder of Downpour Ministries in Australia, has been preaching the gospel from the age of 15. Alwyn was raised up at The Lighthouse Church, Kuwait, a church of 7000+ members, as a youth leader. His first international invitation came from this local church which began his platform for International ministry. Reverend Alwyn has ministered across Asia, the Middle East and America. Recently, July 2009, saw Alwyn conducting his first crusade in Africa; where he led the salvation of over 4000 people in just 1 week in Kenya! Alwyn’s meetings are known to witness the presence of the Holy Spirit often leading to the salvation of many, together with healing and prophetic impartation. Creative miracles, like the recreation of eye balls, growth of body parts, healing of paralysis, tumours and lumps are just few of the miracles that have occurred under the Glory of God that falls in such meetings. The primarypassion that Alwyn pursues is the presence of God. He is recognised as a revivalist who focus on transformation where ever he goes.

In Australia for the last 2 years he was based in Toowoomba and was a part of New Hope Church. He used to teach as a guest at the bible college of the church. Recently Alwyn relocated to the Sun Shine Coast, where Downpour Ministries new head quarters is located. Alwyn is also an associate Pastor at Sun City Church.

Alwyn’s latest book “Reformation through Prophecy” was released early 2010.
